		<description>I wonder if this is why US interviews are so long, because you don't get a chance to tell them that much in the cover letter?

My usual cover letters are in the range of 8-10 PAGES. Because you have to detail how you meet each criteria for government jobs, you have to be able to describe for each one how you have the knowledge/skill, and evidence. It quickly becomes a mini thesis.</description>
