A few weeks ago, someone in Library Blog Land (probably Michael Sauers) alerted me to the fact that Cory Doctorow was doing yet another cool thing. With the release of his new book, Little Brother, Cory suggested that people who enjoyed the book and wanted to give him money direct their donations to another party – namely, libraries.
After chatting with the librarian in charge of my library’s juvenile and young adult collection, I e-mailed Olga Nunes and asked if they’d add my library to the list.
We received our copy today and it’s already in our cataloger’s hot little hands.
Pretty awesome – thanks for doing this, Cory, and thanks to my friend Angie Rush for buying a copy for my library!!
Was it me?

That is so awesome that it’s already working!
